I believe after I listened to Did I Do That (I hate that song) I said "F*ck this album." And I stopped listening. So I never got to listen to Petals. Compared to some of her recent hip hop collaborations, in my opinion Breakdown is the blueprint for how you do a hip hop collaboration right. It came together seamlessly. Everything just fit. Don't forget the endorsement for those social media sites (match.com anyone), the dog leash or pet daycare, and the million dollar lifestyle stuff they are peddling on her website. I actually think the make up, perfume, and nail polish were good ideas. The Mac collection came out exceptionally well. Besides her music, as long as they make the perfume I'm buying. Never knew how much I needed her to do the dance until now. The prop boyfriend twirl makes sense after watching the full performance, but everyone knows how much he irks my soul so I refuse to say anything nice about him. Lol. I liked how she rearranged the song to fit current Mariah voice. I really enjoyed seeing The Lox, Brat, JD, and Mase. (Tuesday 19 September 2017; 11:28)

Making an album hasn't really been on her radar for a while now. Although I'm disappointed, I completely understand why she has become a touring artist. That's basically where the money is and she has to do what she has to do. The only thing I don't like is her continuously getting our hopes up about a new album when she knows that's not where she's headed. If you are still on this putting out singles to shut us up kick, then say that. Just be honest. As for this new docuseries I'm just going to let ya'll watch the first few episodes to get summaries before I attempt to watch. I'm hoping it really does document the tour and music, but due to how MW went I'm in doubt. (Monday 18 September 2017; 15:24)

I absolutely adore her and she's only had one bad album in my opinion and that one was More than a Woman. A Mariah/Toni duet has been at the top of my list for years. They don't differentiate pop music (where Mariah initially started) from Rnb music (where Mariah wants to be now). Rnb artists like Mary J. Blige were already doing the hip hop/Rnb collaboration thing. Some people refuse to acknowledge that the she was pop at one point and pop acts were not doing what Mariah did. If she had started in Rnb and they were trying to give her this honor I definitely could see where they are coming from. She does deserve some praise. (Tuesday 12 September 2017; 02:06)

They [it] apparently love the song. Even though I'm not fond of the song, I'm more than happy to let Daddy Yankee and Luis have their shine. Anyway who really cares? We all know that she wouldn't hold a lot of her records forever. Who would ever have thought some biracial girl from New York would ever hold any records against Elvis or The Beatles?
