That's where it all started and yes I want to know everything about her early years musically too. That's where the magic happened. I would lie If I say I'm not interested in Mariah's private stuff, but as many of you said, I don't believe she's willing to leave La La Land yet. It is so bad, that it could be a parody of a song or something like that. It's a shame that you can make money with that trash music, but I guess that's what today's customers want to hear. Re: Yummy? (92,242) (92,243) by MusicfanJ from Germany I'm not surprised. The current "hits" on the charts are so bad. Today I had a post on my timeline with the title "number ones in 99 and 2019". And everybody were talking about how trashy today's songs are. I swear it all sounded the same, no emotion, poor production. It is a torture for the ears. Even not everything was good in 99 (the Bubblegum-Pop) but even those songs are way better than today's garbage on the charts. I'm so happy to have witnessed the good times. 80ies and 90ies were the best, I even prefer the oldies from 60ies and 70ies. For example I googled Bilie Ellish, horrible. I had to quit after 30 seconds listening to it. Luckily we can listen to the good old stuff anytime. (Thursday 9 January 2020; 19:17)

Re: Signature song (91,994) (92,001) by MusicfanJ from Germany I would say "Hero" too. But AIWFCIY is really close to it. For the younger ones it surely is the Christmas anthem. "Without you" is also still used here in Europe if it comes to Mariah. On my personal list it's "Hero", "Fantasy" and "Vision of love" as her signature song. (Saturday 28 December 2019; 16:54)

No matter what we think about Walter personally, he's a genuis producer. He can create and write wonderful songs. She's pretty and good at entertaining but I don't see her as a real artist (no matter how many number ones she has). I think Alicia Keys is was more talented for exampale. Even if she doesn't get her next number one (I believe she will) her latest promotion and touring were excelent. She seems to be herself again. After that horror years (with the garbage clan) I'm so happy that we get that super festive shining MC that gives her best and makes us fans so proud. Thanks to her team, Bryan and all her beloved ones who really want to see her succeed and happy. I wish the MCA family a very Merry Christmas and all the best for 2020. I enjoy ya. It made me appreciate the song even more. Although I have a little overdose from all the repeat. Lol. But hey we'll stay festive with the MC and MC2 album.
