That's not to say that I will not celebrate in her future commercial endeavors, obviously. Just that it's not as important as being truly spiritually fulfilled. I wish that for myself and I pray that for other people that I love and even people I don't know or have a natural liking for. I understand that not everybody is going to get why I feel the need to post this but I would reference Mariah's own expressed Faith and core beliefs and desires since the world first heard 'Vision of Love'. This is who she has always been striving to become. I recently reread Her autobiography: 'The Meaning of Mariah Carey' and these are some of the thoughts I came away with: "Hopes, Dreams, Wishes, and Prayers for Mariah Carey: 1. Spiritual Fulfillment - That she continues to nurture her relationship with God, leaning on Him for guidance, peace, and joy in all aspects of her life. 2. A Godly Marriage - That she finds a partner who shares her faith, values, and desire to honor God in their union. 3. Healing and Restoration - That the scars from her past—whether from childhood or past relationships—are fully healed, allowing her to live with peace and joy unshaken by old wounds. 4. Authentic Love and Support - That she surrounds herself with people who truly love, respect, and support her for who she is, beyond her celebrity persona. 5. Grace to Be Human - That she is shown grace and understanding by others, allowing her to make mistakes, grow, and evolve without judgment or undue criticism. 6. Let me get this straight (51,873) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End So Mariah Carey, the record holder of solo #1 Billboard Hot 100 songs, was never supposed to update her original #1's from 1998 even after adding 5 new #1s ever? Lest we forget, Mariah was the first artist to put out a compilation album centred around her #1's, only it was to commemorate being the female record holder at the time. Why wouldn't she want to celebrate being the #1 solo artist in the game, period? I think it's a great effort to launch #1 To Infinity at this moment in time, 25th anniversary and all the new chapters she's started with Sony, Vegas etc. It's a brilliant move, don't believe me, just watch. And I pre-ordered the album the same day it was pre-released and lamb or not that's something I've never done before. That tells me the whole Reveal Mariah thing worked really well because I didn't even know there would be a surprise included for the initial pre-orders or whatever. I didn't need anymore incentives than knowing Infinity was gonna be #19 on the tracklist. It's going to do wonders for Infinity and beyond. Does Live Nation not have the ability to print CDs over here in Europe? I don't have the original #1's anymore because a friend of a friend "borrowed it" without permission and never gave it back. Why would she divorce a dead beat husband and not feel inspired to scrutinise any of her other dysfunctional commitments? Mariah's career is arguably her first "baby". In that analogy the publicist becomes one of the nannies. What then is a mother to do when her baby is stuck in arrested development if not release said nannies from her employ? And when he did comment on it, all he really did was cover his own ass. He conveniently left out that the very premise of his would be book is based on compete and utter lies about Mariah. I predicted as much. Not to mention how flippantly he implied Mariah would take him back after all this drama on that same red carpet to another interviewer. Un-be-lie-va-ble. What is he like? Holding his feet to the fire is easy considering his heat seeking behaviour. Hateful people come for Mariah all day every day. At least when we side eye Thirsty we aren't claiming to be fans of his on a message board dedicated to him. Tell you what though, as soon as Mariah Carey comes out in defence of his actions I'll continue to read him for filth anytime I like. It's not like he would ever admit to being a douchebag, that's like DB 101, here's looking at you Tommy. On a funny note, I saw a comment last week some lamb made about how instead of the Jesus cover-up of "Mariah", Thirsty should have tattooed Judas on his back. See that's funny because it's the truth. I was 9 or 10 years old and home alone watching videos on MTV or Super Channel. VOL came on and I literally walked up to the TV screen because I wanted to be as close to the source of that angelic voice as possessible. I never heard anyone use their voice like that and it blew my mind. We moved to another city shortly after that and again I saw her on TV and I had another moment. But I was a kid who basically listened to whatever my family members bought. I guess the official house diva was Whitney Houston so maybe that's why Mariah had to be snuck in for me to discover. Anyway, I was 12 and Dreamlover came out with those ethereal high notes. Music Box: that record was being played everywhere on TV and radio and for the first time I heard her unusual name be spoken out loud. Subsequently obsessed over MB when my sister borrowed it from her friend and I was in awe. From that moment I could distinguish her tone in a sea of cacophony. Unsurprisingly Daydream ended up being the first CD I ever bought with my own money. You wanna know what's funny? I didn't realise Mariah was the same singer as the VOL girl until we had internet access in JHS and the first extra curricular thing I ever searched was Mariah Carey in Altavista (90's Google). I was an amusement unto myself and started researching everything about her. Anyone who knew me even in passing associated me with singing and Mariah Carey. True story. (Tuesday 7 April 2015; 8:18)

Just because Mariah is willingly putting her children's wellbeing ahead of her pride so they won't have to go through all of the turmoil she went through in her own parents divorce doesn't mean Thirsty is husband/daddy of the year. Everything he says is vetted by a publicist and let him tell it you'd think the divorce was the greatest thing that ever happened. If things are so damn great then why the hell is he knowingly breaking up his precious family? He's going overboard with faking it big time, because Mariah's being the bigger person by consciously making dysfunction functional and that's why I love her. If she had any good things to say about him she would have already said it. What's that expression: If you don't have anything good to say, then say nothing at all. Food for thought. The mere fact that the libellous treatment/synopsis is in the press undisputed is enough leverage for blackmail. Notice how all the false nasty rumours that's been put out about Mariah from circa 2011 until now are all being corroborated by Thirsty. What are the odds? At some point It became very obvious every single malicious attack of Mariah's character has been a tactic employed by the narcissist because he was building a case as far back as her pregnancy to get out of the marriage with maximum gains. There have been negative blind items floating around on websites and forums for years about Mariah where Thirsty always managed to remain untouched. Apart from that ridiculous planted story of him being some sort of drug kingpin that he only threw out there to divert attention from himself as the sourse gossiper. He's a manipulative and soul less creature IMO and I hope Mariah plays him out of any settlement because he's shown he's nothing but a bottomless pit when it comes to money. Someone who has no honour or any real human weaknesess or vulnerabilities can not be trusted to know right from wrong, let alone do right by his children's mother. He's a liar and a cheat and I despise the way he keeps emphasising how he will always be family, like it's a threat. With all that said, now we know why Thirsty insisted on those horrible children's books: subterfuge, deflection and leverage in the divorce. (Saturday 4 April 2015; 3:30)

Notice how they will never take up for Mariah but somehow always manage to justify defending the side of whomever is currently against her. Let's see who has the audacity to claim lambhood and finagle sympathy for Nick at Nite's Rapaciousness. Yesterday is over, today I won't suffer fools who dare give any credence to that piece of gutter trash masquerading as literature. Team Mariah better sue this male version of Heather Mills. Ugh, just when you forgot he even existed, any woman who willingly deals with this sociopathic douche after this has at least had fair warning. Something Mariah, unfortunately didn't. RJJ12, Will, Bill, Lee, Billy on the Tidal wave (51,290) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End As far as I understand this whole Tidal thing, it sounds an awful lot like a pyramid scheme, only it's music celebrities that are going to benefit. I don't think the business model will last very long until the general public catch on but by then millions will have already been made. Maybe I'm overly cynical but that's my personal take and so I'm happy Mariah isn't driven by greed as much as she is driven by creating music for the consumption of those who will appreciate it the most. It also helps that she writes her own songs and owns all her own publishing and masters. Mariah is set for life. In that way Ben Margulies was a blessing in disguise with his slave contract back in the day. That probably wised her up to dodgy business dealings overall. What kind of dimwitted amateur critics don't understand that? Funny how Mariah always manages to look stunning on video, no matter what. Even my little brother who's 19 is greatly impressed by how it hasn't aged even a second. He's been hearing Mariah since he was days old courtesy of yours truly. That's almost unheard of. Very few artists' songs have those timeless qualities as consistently as Mariah to me. The production is so on point and every second counts. The wall of sound, just ugh, Masterful. Anyway, I miss Da Brat collaborating with Mariah. They have great musical chemistry and their personal friendship makes her raps all the more interesting because she usually spits quite the mouth full. Can you imagine the things she would have rapped about on MIAMTEC? Lord, on Thirsty? Maybe they are doing something for "The Album"? Here's to hoping. (Wednesday 25 March 2015; 12:55)

I wonder if #1's 2.0 is gonna be marketed as a double CD/DVD featuring the MC demos? It would almost have to be but what do I know. The instrumentation sounds raw enogh for me to believe it's real. Not to mention the slight difference in her phrasing, especially on Someday. Honestly, her demo was very professional. I can understand her frustration with having overproduction much better now after hearing it. All these demo teasers are making me happy. Yay. What are you all thinking?
