Re: GLAAD award (61,638) (61,641)
by Webmaster Eric from the Netherlands
I have to agree with Andrew. I think Mariah only gets the award because Mariah is a superstar, so that the GLAAD Award gets more publicity. Who has ever heard of this award before? Celebrities who deserve awards are people who will travel around to stop injustice, talk to world leaders about political issues, who are not afraid to speak their minds when they see something they don't like. People like Princess Diana, Angelina Jolie, Bono, Bruce Springsteen. Certainly not Mariah. (Tuesday 26 April 2016; 16:55)

Where did you read or hear Mariah doesn't like covers of Prince songs? Mariah said: "One thing about him that was kinda cool and funny and made me laugh is that he didn't like when people did his songs. Otherwise I would have done something of his, just to do it, but I knew that wasn't his thing." Before you say something dumb, learn to read first. (Monday 25 April 2016; 9:44)

If you don't follow my rules ("try to write understandable English, with the proper use of dots and capitals"), your messages won't get posted. And besides, your messages are very very very long, full of self-pity. We already know you're bi, that you impregnated a girl when you were 16 years old, that you, your daughter and your mother are sick, that you were married twice and divorced twice by the age of 29, that you don't have money and still manages to travel to Helsinki from Spain, that Mariah made you false promises so she didn't had to listen to your whining, that you gave her an expensive necklace instead of selling the item and use the money for rent, that you're still in Helsinki on vacation, etc. (Tuesday 12 April 2016; 18:26)

by Webmaster Eric from the Netherlands
Maybe I will get crucified for this post, but I have to write it anyway. Juan Manuel Benabu from EspaƱa, I feel sorry that you're sick and got violated twice. But why did you tell this to Mariah and everyone on this messageboard (and in such details)? So that Mariah and us might like you better? Correct me if I'm wrong, but you almost sound proud of being sick, so you get a lot more privileges than the other fans do. And attacking other fans because they feel cheated is just wrong. Because you're sick doesn't mean that Tiina should feel ashamed because she was robbed of so much money. I always have the feeling that the less fortunate among us have more compassion with others, but with you I get the feeling you feel superior to the rest of us. I really hope I'm wrong. Re: The PR problem (61,135) (61,136)
by Webmaster Eric from the Netherlands
I do agree with Andrew (yes, miracles do happen) and Tiina. If you pay a lot of money (and I think 700 euro is really a lot of money) for a ticket, or if you are a fan from the beginning and spend tens of thousands euro on CD's and singles (like I did), Mariah hardly has any time for you. But if you have a sad story, Mariah takes her time (and you don't even have to be a real fan). Maybe listening to a sad story is good for television, but the die-hard fans will be left with a bad taste in their mouth. But this goes for almost every celebrity. Being sick or having a sad story will give you more chance to meet your idol than loving your idol to death and spending a lot of money on them. Fortunately, I've met Mariah in person once, although I had to wait because she was six hours late. The security guy then told us we couldn't touch her. When it was my turn, I just touched her anyway and she didn't mind. (Friday 8 April 2016; 14:35)
Stella (60,853)
by Webmaster Eric from the Netherlands
Reading Stella's answers to the comments some fans made, I was wondering if the title of The Sun's article should've been: "Mariah Carey gets fans to sign bizarre contract that protects her if they die... or if they get killed by Stella". (Sunday 27 March 2016; 13:26)
Re: The 90s (60,687) (60,688)
by Webmaster Eric from the Netherlands
I'm sorry to say this, but in the 90s Mariah was never considered a serious songwriter. Everyone always said that she was a great singer, but that she could be much bigger if her songs (and especially her lyrics) were better. And to be honest, her lyrics weren't always that great. I know what I'm talking about, I've been a fan since 1993 and I have this website since 1998. (Monday 21 March 2016; 11:04)

Here we go again. You sound like a broken record, never ever anything positive to say about Mariah. Thank God most people do like the Vegas concerts, so maybe there is nothing wrong with Mariah's singing but with your hearing. Did you check a doctor already? (Wednesday 17 February 2016; 9:39)

You're implying that Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Jay-Z are controlled by the Illuminati (and therefore they are evil) and that the Illuminati killed Whitney and Michael Jackson. Sure I will call you an idiot if you write messages like these. (Tuesday 2 February 2016; 12:37)
Re: I love Rihanna (59,502) (59,503)

Please, not another idiot who thinks the world is ruled by the illuminati. We had this insane discussion last year and I don't want to see something crazy like that repeated on this messageboard. So any reference to the illuminati will be deleted immediately. (Tuesday 2 February 2016; 11:38)
Re: Complex article (58,428) (58,434)
by Webmaster Eric from the Netherlands
I don't find this article negative at all, and seeing the reactions of other fans, you're the only one who thinks so. Regarding "negative" articles on my website, almost 15 years ago I asked the fans if the only want to see positive articles on my website and the majority didn't like that. They want to know everything about Mariah, the good and the bad. Other websites only posted the positive articles and see what happened to these websites (Mariah Daily Journal, Mariah Connection, Mariah's Heroes etc). (Tuesday 15 December 2015; 0:00)

Why did it take you so long before you started your usual complaint about Mariah's lip-sync? You are so predictable. Did you really expect Mariah to sing live? (Friday 27 November 2015; 0:38)

I don't understand why people keep calling "Oz the Great and Powerful" a flop. The box office was $493.3 million. (The box office for "The Butler" was $176.6 million and for "Precious" it was $63.6 million.) (Monday 26 October 2015; 12:49)
Giovanni (56,274)

Giovanni, could you please stop being so rude all the time? And why do keep on thinking that your opinions are the truth? I like Infinity and I'm not a young girl and I'm not gay. Finally, could you please stop calling other fans delusional when they don't agree with you? (Tuesday 25 August 2015; 20:51)

Re: Mariah album rate? (56,103) (56,115)
by Webmaster Eric from the Netherlands
Are you sure you're a fan? Because only two albums have a score higher than 6 and not a single album has a score higher than 8. My list would be: Mariah Carey - 10 Emotions - 9 Music Box - 10 Merry Christmas - 9 Daydream - 10 Butterfly - 9 Rainbow - 10 Glitter - 10 Charmbracelet - 9 TEOM - 9 E=MC2 - 10 Memoirs - 8 MCIIY - 9 MIAMTEC - 10 (Monday 17 August 2015; 15:59)

"As a man he should be working." Aren't you a little old-fashioned? Why can't a woman be the breadwinner and the man looks after the children? Especially if the woman is more talented than the man? (Sunday 19 July 2015; 3:31)
Re: Billy don't be a hero (54,485) (54,488)
by Webmaster Eric from the Netherlands
Andrew, it's funny you attack Billy, but you don't answer a single question he asks. He wonders if you're still a fan (because this is a fan site) because you have never ever anything positive to say about Mariah, her songs, her performances, etc. Because most fans love Mariah, we are sick of someone who's always negative about Mariah. You're like a broken record, repeating the same negative opinions over and over and over. When Mariah releases a new single or perfomances somewhere, I already know that you will post something negative within a few days. And you don't say you don't like the song or perfomance once, no you keep on repeating yourself for days to come. Very boring. Maybe you like the "old" Mariah and you think in the future the "old" Mariah will re-emerge, but it is very clear you don't like the current Mariah. Billy wonders how you can call yourself a fan when it's clear you're not. So just like Billy (and dozens other fans) we give you one advice: let Mariah go and you will be much happier. Re: Gossip Cop Mariah Carey edition (54,190)
by Webmaster Eric from the Netherlands
First of all, it's impossible to post "all" news stories about Mariah. The story about Morgan was on literally hundreds of websites. Secondly, how do you know if a story is true? How do you know Morgan didn't had an interview with the National Enquirer? I remember some gossip sites broke the news about Mariah marrying Nick, and many fans thought it was untrue (why would she marry a guy she ony dated a for a few weeks?). It was only confirmed days later. Thirdly, if someone writes a news article praising or criticizing Mariah's clothes or show, how can you label this "fake" or "true"? (Thursday 4 June 2015; 16:39)

Re: Eric (53,079) (53,091)
by Webmaster Eric from the Netherlands
Remember, this is a fansite for Mariah Carey. I have this website because I love her. I don't mind if you critizice things she sings, does or wears, but if you insult her, I will get pissed. So no, I won't apologize to MC1985 and other fans who always criticize everything she does, instead they should apologize to Mariah for always being so negative. It makes me sad that some fans leave this website because the mood is always so negative. It's like Mariah can do no good to some "negas" ("negas" are people who are always negative, just like "haters" are people who hate everything Mariah does). So in the future, if you insult Mariah, your message won't get posted. If you critize her, that's OK, but the criticism has to be fair. E.g. you may say you don't like Infinity, but if you call Mariah a cheater, your message will be deleted. Freedom of speech is a good thing, unless it hurts others. (Friday 8 May 2015; 10:18)
