Muni Long fans thought they were waiting on a remix of her viral smash "Made for Me" featuring "Pressure" performer Ari Lennox, but the singer-songwriter dropped jaws when it was recently revealed she's coming with a different kind of pressure for the megahit's revamped version.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday (May 8), Long reposted a video from Jermaine Dupri (who produced "Made" alongside Jordan XL and Bryan-Michael Cox) that features what looks and sounds like Mariah Carey adding her unmistakable vocals to Muni's megahit from a home studio.
"You know a song ain't a song with out a remix baby," Dupri captioned the clip. Already a smash on its own thanks to a viral reception on social media, the original edition of "Made" made it to #20 on the Hot 100 at the height of its popularity.
Should the Carey-assisted version come to light it will mark her fourth collaboration with Muni as the 35-year-old co-wrote fan favorite Mariah songs "A No No", "Infinity", and "Runway". At the time of this report no official release date is attached to the teased "Made" remix.
