Mariah Carey confirms her collaboration with Peloton

After teasing a possible collaboration with Peloton in her annual, "It's Time" video on Halloween, Mariah Carey confirmed her Artist Series collaboration with the company. The 53-year-old singer took to Instagram on Wednesday, sharing a new video where she hit an incredibly high note once again, confirming her Peloton Mariah Carey Artist Series collaboration.

The Artist Series kicks off on Friday, December 2, with Carey excitedly relaying the news in a video to her 11.4 million Instagram followers. "It's happening," Carey said, using a super-high octave, in the new Instagram video on Wednesday morning, wearing a stunning black gown.

"I'm very excited. My Peleton Artist Series is here! You can celebrate with me. We're celebrating my entire artist catalog," Carey continued. "And you can basically... I don't know, bike, tread, or yoga, in or on the Peloton app, with me. See you there," Carey concluded, before blowing a kiss to her viewers.

This year, Carey used her annual, "It's Time" video - which signals for many the start of the holiday season - to transition from Halloween right into Christmas, while riding on a Peloton bike. "It's timeā€¦ finally! 'Tis the season to spread some holiday cheer at Peloton with my very own Artist Series," Carey said in a statement (via Peloton press release).

"Lambily, get ready and get sweaty with this festive collection of classes. You don't want to miss this, dahhling," she added. The Peloton Artist Series celebrates Carey's diverse catalog of music through 11 classes across seven modalities, available both live and on-demand.

Among the classes offered include Cycling and Tread, and it will also be the first-ever Artist Series class on Peloton Row. Other "off-equipment offerings" include, "Strength, Barre and Yoga, making the series accessible for all Peloton Members, with no equipment necessary."

There will also be a special Two-for-One Ride streamed live from Peloton Studios in New York City featuring Peloton Instructors Cody Rigsby and Emma Lovewell.

"Mariah Carey evokes the power of the holiday season, which is all about celebrating and showing gratitude for your loved ones and community," said Gwen Bethel Riley, Head of Music at Peloton. "We toast the power that music has in joining us together by bringing Mariah Carey's iconic music to the Peloton platform. Our members have been waiting for this moment and we can't wait to see how they respond to this epic class series."
